All required dance wear is available at the NewDance Boutique. Ballet
slippers and jazz shoes are also available and can be properly
fitted by the NewDance staff.
For NewDancers 2 years old to 5 years old
Dance students (2-3 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or
caretaker who is able to participate in the class. Bare feet or
socks with non-slip grips are required. Please wear comfortable
clothing that does not restrict movement. Long hair must be tied
back. 3 to 4 year old Dance 2 and 4-5 year old Dance 3 students
are required to wear a pink leotard, pink slippers and a ballet
skirt. No tutus. Hair in a ponytail or bun.
Leotard,* pink footed tights, pink slippers, hair must be in a
secure bun. Ballet skirts permitted.
5–6: Light Blue
6–7: Navy Blue
7–8: Lavender
8–10: Burgundy
11–13: Forest Green
Teens: Black
Leotard, footless tights,
bare feet; hair must be in a ponytail or bun.
Leotard, footless tights, black “split sole” jazz
shoes; hair must be in a ponytail.
Leotard, footless tights, black tap shoes; hair must be in
